Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy with Linx

Applied behavior analysis is the scientific study of principles pertaining to behavior changes. ABA treatment aims to systematically influence socially important changes in an individuals behavior through assessment, data analysis and implementation of dynamic treatment plans developed with this data. Treatment is overseen with the goal of improving the individuals skill deficits in the areas of adaptive behaviors, communication skills and more that are caused by problematic behaviors like aggression, self injury, and others.

Who Is Eligible?

  • All Medicaid children 18 mo. through 20 yrs with primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder prior to their 8th birthday; AND
  • Referred for necessary diagnostic and treatment services identified during an Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) encounter with a health professional practicing within the scope of their practice and who provides medically necessary health care, diagnosis or treatment to determine the existence of a suspected illness or condition, or change or complication to a pre-existing condition
